Why Teletherapy?

Some reasons why teletherapy might make sense… people move and want to continue to see their same therapist, parents can’t get a sitter but need support, people travel and don’t want to miss their appointment, some people are too shy to reach out and actually come in person to an office, and people living in rural communities who don’t have providers in their area. These are just a few reasons people might seek out teletherapy. In our modern world we as a people are leading busy lives and find that scheduling time for an appointment can be easier online than finding time in our day to travel to an office. Whatever the personal reason, the offering of teletherapy is a very appreciated option for many people.

As a therapist that offers teletherapy, I get the opportunity to apply my skills as therapists in new ways. The reward of being able to help people who might never have been able to come into the office is very rewarding.

I offer both video or phone sessions, whichever is preferable for the client. I offer all the same support and skills to everyone in the comfort and convenience of your own home, office or even car.

The good news about the expansion of ways that people can choose to do therapy is that many more people are now able to get support than ever before. Teletherapy is bridging the gap for a lot of people who would otherwise go without as well as adding a convenient method of receiving services for all of us.
