Lara Schwartz, M.A., LMFT is a warm and compassionate licensed therapist in Bend, Oregon who has been in private practice for the past 24 years. Lara specializes in working with clients from a holistic perspective that includes utilizing her intuitive, empathic, and clinical skills along with her sense of humor and optimistic outlook on life to help her clients relax and enjoy the therapy process. The therapy process is a journey of getting to know ourselves better and learning to be open to the guidance of our heart so that we can have a clearer picture of our own unique path in this life. From this place of deeper connection with ourselves, we can more easily and accurately make decisions and changes in our life. We can meet challenges with more confidence, and we can improve the quality of our relationships as well. ‏In addition to being a therapist for the last 24 years, Lara has also been on her own spiritual/mindfulness journey of growing and evolving and becoming the person she is today. She lives what she teaches to her clients and feels deeply honored to be allowed to accompany her clients on their personal paths to greater intimacy with themselves and within their relationships.

Lara holds a Masters Degree in Clinical Psychology and is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in Both Oregon and California. Lara continues to further her education regularly with studies in Marriage and Couples Therapy, Mindfulness, Spiritual Therapy, Cognitive/Behavioral Therapy and a variety of other traditional and alternative treatment methods.
